Proud to be named one of the "Top 200 Healthiest Credit Unions in America" with a ranking of #110 out of 6,655 credit unions, our dedication to delivering the best products and services for our members required us to replace our aging Nortel phone system with a communications solution that would be secure and reliable, feature-rich, yet simple to manage and economical to operate. With the help of partner UCI direct, USCCU successfully replaced our BCM telephone system with a state of the art UCx system from E-MetroTel. The transition was seamless, the functionality was greatly improved, and costs became much more controllable.
With a single license, all of the features and applications we need such as call recording, call accounting, contact center, call agents, unified messaging, and extension to mobile come came built-in with every UCx server, regardless whether located at our main Nashville location or in surrounding branches, helping us significantly simplify our network and lower our operating costs. Eliminating the separate licensing and support for 3 third party applications and servers, combined with the ability to retain our existing Nortel 1140 IP phones, means huge savings for our members, in the order of 50% of our communication costs. We have been very satisfied with the service from E-MetroTel as well as the functionality of the UCx. US Community Credit Union has found E-MetroTel to be a key business partner in the success of our overall business strategy.

Jefferson Bank and Trust is committed to providing our customers with quality financial solutions and exceptional customer service but the legacy Nortel PBX we were using was no longer up to the task. We upgraded to an E-MetroTel’s UCx VoIP server platform a few years ago and have been thoroughly impressed with its flexibility and rich feature set. By integrating our existing Nortel digital phones with the built-in Unified Communication tools, we were able to improve customer service while benefiting from immediate telephony savings. The upgrade to UCx release 4.0 went very smooth and the call recording feature is very easy to use.

GraceKennedy Money Services (GKMS) is the umbrella entity for FX Trader and Bill Express. GKMS is also the exclusive agent for Western Union in Jamaica and eight other Caribbean countries - Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla and Montserrat and most recently, the British Virgin Islands. Our offices were running Nortel voice solutions and needed a technology upgrade. As such, we engaged ShareWave Technologies to migrate our legacy CS 1000 system to a new UCx that gave us the Unified Communication features we needed.
We found this latest SIP technology simple to use, scalable and it has also helped to lower our costs. We realized significant savings because we could keep all our existing handsets and use most of our current PBX hardware with no disruption to service additionally we were able to add our locations island-wide to our voice network.
